Two way radios are popularly called walkie-talkies that were originally developed for the army but are today used for various purposes like public safety, commercial and jobsite work and even by families and friends. An important part of these two way radios is its two way radio earpiece that is obviously used for receiving messages from the sender.
Though you can buy two way radios that come with built-in speakers, many people prefer using these earpieces as they are loud enough to be heard only by its user and not by those in the immediate vicinity. This in turn provides the privacy any user needs while communicating.
Not noticeable
Moreover, these two way radio earpieces are not noticeable at all. In fact, when they were first released, people thought the user was talking to themselves. The earpiece can be easily tucked away if required, and if you have long hair, you can hide the earpiece from others' sight.
Another reason for getting a two way radio earpiece is because they can be barely noticed and are lightweight. They fit over one ear and its mic either goes down the cheek half way or has a small boom mic on it. There are also some earpieces that look like blue tooth headsets, but of course, without a blue tooth device.
Reasonably priced
Depending on the brand, these earpieces are reasonably priced, between $15-$30. While the most common brands are Motorola and Midland, they are also rather inexpensive. The ear pieces that come with army or police style two way radios however are a bit on the expensive side.
So in a nutshell, there are three reasons to get your two way radio earpiece. They are lightweight making them easy and comfortable to use, some brands are rather cheaply priced and as they are small, no one will ever know you were using them. |
